Program Highlights:

• ThinkFirst St. Louis was first launched in 1985 by neurosurgeon Harry Cole, MD and his wife, Molly — Dr. Cole’s chapter was located at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO for 15 years
• In the fall of 2003, ThinkFirst St. Louis became a program of Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Trauma Service Department in St. Louis, Missouri
• Julie Nash serves as the interim director, and two Washington University School of Medicine trauma physicians co-sponsor the program
• This chapter is funded in part by a grant from the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation
• ThinkFirst For Kids and ThinkFirst For Teens, as well as many other additional creative prevention programs, are available to schools in the St. Louis city and county
